MetropolitanRepublic, the integrated creative advertising agency, will soon find itself working at the heart of South Africa’s digital publishing, marketing and advertising industry after winning the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) South Africa account.
The bureau – a member-driven, voluntary association affiliated to the IAB globally – was previously known as the Digital Media and Marketing Association. It has more than 200 members locally, including online publishers, brands and educational institutions, as well as creative, media and digital agencies.
It aims to promote the use of all forms of digital advertising in South Africa to increase digital ad spend, and to help advertisers and media agencies embrace the myriad creative possibilities of the medium.
The MetropolitanRepublic creative and digital teams worked together to present an attention-grabbing promotional campaign that demonstrates the power and reach of the digital audience to both consumers and advertisers.
That campaign is backed up by an extensive digital content strategy to expand on the campaign message, to prove the IAB South Africa’s expertise in this field and to help media planners, designers, copywriters, clients and others make the most of the medium.
