Tracy Roberts recently joined Y&R South Africa’s Team Pick n Pay, taking on the leadership role of Managing Partner as a crowning addition in maximising an already talented staff complement, following a bout of strategic promotions in 2014.
This savvy team player joins the agency with enormous experience, spanning over 25 years in advertising and communication, branding and design, and more recently shopper marketing.
Tracy’s client experience includes blue chip clients across a wide range of categories, such as Financial Services, FMCG, QSR and Retail, Telecommunication and Education. She started her career as a PA and worked her way through the ranks to roles ranging from business development to client service and management.
After spending some time as Managing Director of an internationally affiliated Shopper Marketing Agency and, more recently, Business Director of an independent design Agency, Tracy has joined Y&R. Her passion for retail and experience in a variety of roles makes her a valuable addition to the Y&R South Africa team.
Although enjoying an occasional book, Tracy is a fast-paced adventure traveller, Divemaster and keen diver, and even completed her Private Pilot’s license a few years ago.
It’s due to this energetic and dynamic nature that her appointment is further testimony to Y&R’s commitment to mirror clients’ business needs and to not only embrace, but enjoy the fast-paced and time-sensitive nature of delivery on a mammoth retail account on a day-to-day basis.
