Director Karien Cherry’s recent Sanlam campaign has just been awarded first place in the Creative Circle ‘TV, Cinema and Film’ category for March. This is the second time in only four months that Karien has claimed the ‘Ad of the Month’ award, adding to a rapidly growing list of industry accolades which include (most notably) a Merit Award from the One Show, a Golden Pixel from the IAB Bookmarks, and a Bronze Loerie.
The Sanlam campaign introduced their new Tax Free Savings accounts by gently reminding everyone just how much we all dislike getting less. Under Karien’s watchful eye the spots were filmed as unscripted real life experiments, and captured priceless reactions that expertly proved the agency’s idea.
