King James Group named Large Agency of the Year at Annual AdFocus Awards

Posted: November 27, 2015

Ending off what has undoubtedly been a year of spectacular successes for the agency, King James Group was crowned Large Agency of the Year at the Annual AdFocus Awards held in Johannesburg on Wednesday night.

Says Alistair King, chief creative officer at King James Group, “This is a very satisfying accolade for us to win, not only because it reflects our coming of age, but because it fills that one empty space on the wall that we have been saving for this prize.”

Arguably the industry’s most comprehensive awards, the Annual AdFocus Awards recognise and reward the best of South African communications across a range of key criteria. Agencies are judged on business growth, business relationships, creative success and transformation, and winners are announced in small, medium and large agency categories.

“While we have enjoyed terrific creative awards success this past year, the Annual AdFocus Awards provide affirmation that we are getting all the business levers right too. Our success is only possible through the trust our clients place in us, and our joint ability to produce standout work that grows business,” adds James Barty, chief executive officer at King James Group.
