On the back of a brilliant year, Vizeum South Africa took the top accolade in their category, winning the Media Agency of the year award at the annual Adfocus Awards for the first time. Of 4 major criteria categories (Retention, New Business growth, BEE/CSR & Innovation/Awards) scored in the awards, Vizeum consistently delivered outstanding performance that landed them the number one spot.

Further to this win, Vizeum has taken 7 awards at the prestigious Bookmark, Loeries and Assegai awards in 2015.
From a financial perspective the business bills over R1 billion and is no longer a mid-sized agency, with this said, their Sub Saharan Africa business grew to over R30milllion and continues to expand. Vizeum’s foundation is based on staff that are passionate, resulting in staff retention as well as forming valued partnerships. The fact that the investment in their staff training has doubled as they live out their sentiment, that their staff is the backbone of the company.
Vizeum pitched against two of the largest agencies in South Africa, within the last 3 months and won MINI and retained BMW for which they won the digital business as well.
When asked about the businesses growth, Richard Procter, Joint Managing Director for Vizeum SA said, “We grew 23% vs. the previous year, which had a 14% growth. This growth was worth R251 million in billings. Our new business amounted to R122 million, which is worth R240 million annually. Blue chip clients include BMW, MINI, The Spur Group, Santam and Pernod Ricard. If it were not for the dedication of our staff these accolades would not be possible, huge congratulations to our team for their phenomenal effort and support, we wish to take this same momentum well into 2016.”
