Y&R Cape Town has been awarded the above-the-line and below-the-line marketing design for the Western Cape Government in two separate pitches. This is a significant account gain, with a portfolio of 13 sub-brands that need servicing by the agency. These include local service delivery, promoting a safe and healthy environment, and promoting development within the Western Cape.
The MediaShop, one of the oldest media independent agencies in South Africa was awarded the media-buying contract.
Natalie Tudhope, the agency’s financial and managing director is elated with this blue chip win. She commented, “We are overjoyed to be selected above key competitors to offer creative and strategic guidance to the provincial government’s leadership. We see our role as a communications partner that will assist our provincial government to achieve their mission to develop policies and practices that strengthen their positioning of ‘better together’.
